Aspiring Specialist Leaders of Education
Aspiring Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs): SLEs are now a vital part of systems leadership in supporting school improvement. As a Teaching School Alliance, we have now appointed seven SLEs who will work across the city and beyond. This is a role which involves both a high level of subject knowledge and pedagogy alongside key leadership skills.
We are planning this professional development opportunity for anyone who would like to apply for SLE status or is just curious about finding out more. Both sessions will be led by Helen Horsley (Head of Sussex Coast TSA) and an SLE already in post.
